Where Should You Stay?

Working in the tourism industry, I have heard varying reports on the same places, ranging from poor to excellent. This has led me to the conclusion that each of us has a different standard for acceptable and unacceptable.

Location, Location, Location

Do your homework. Has your travel agent been to the Big Island? You may want to ask. The great package deal you just set up may not be your idea of a dream vacation in Hawaii.

Many of us have booked a room someplace that did not meet our expectations. Whether it was the location, room, or staff, we wish we had done more research.

Use the Internet or call the place directly. You're investing too much in your vacation to be uncomfortable when you get here.
